Next Generation Citizens: The Making of 23 Eco-Heroes in Prijedor

How do you inspire children to become true protectors of the planet? Through the NUDGES project, we tested an innovative educational journey that gently guided the youngest citizens of Prijedor toward awareness, knowledge, and action. The result: 23 children proudly stepped up as eco-heroes – ambassadors of climate-responsible behavior in their schools, families, and communities.

The programme led them through a creative and engaging path: from watching films and imagining solutions, to recycling waste with 3D printing and planting their own gardens. Each step was carefully designed to nudge them toward sustainable habits, proving that change starts with small actions – and with the youngest generation.

The story of these little heroes is more than just workshops. It is a movement that has already reached beyond classrooms, inspiring peers, parents, and the wider community.
